Moses started learning classical piano at the age of 7 and completed his grade 8 in 1982. Inclined to pop and jazz music, he went to L.A. USA to study jazz keyboard with the renowned Dick Grove School of Music in 1988. His second instrument is the Electric Bass Guitar. He also plays the acoustic guitar, electric guitar & Drums.
Moses has been serving in his church worship ministry since 1985.
In 1985, Moses joined as a music director with Care Corner, a Christian Outreach organization reaching out to the Chinese speaking community in Singapore. He was responsible for training the singers and the music production for its monthly concert held at YMCA multi-purpose hall. He had also produced many Chinese worship albums with the Care Corner. After his musical training in the United States in 1988, he continued to work with Care Corner producing Christian worship albums and at the same time undertook music arrangements for commercial projects, just to mention a couple, theme song arrangement for a Chinese TV serial with the then SBC (Singapore Broadcasting Corporation), a live stage drama with TCS casts organized by the NTUC (National Trade Union Congress).
Moses specializes in teaching spontaneous contemporary & jazz keyboard/piano playing and electric bass. He also trains individual musician for ear training and modern harmony theory. He had conducted worship band seminars in Hong Kong and Singapore. He has been teaching worship bands in many churches since 1990.
