5 Years of teaching at a secondary school in South Africa, teaching piano, cello, harmony, music theory, music history and coaching a string ensemble and brass band.
From 1990 appointed at Bloemfontein College as Lecturer in Music, becoming head of the Music Department in 2000 though still teaching and doing accompanying and organizing music concerts locally in the city of Bloemfontein and in the surrounding towns. She also did several recordings with other musicians for the South African Broadcasting Society. Experienced as examiner at A- and O-level examinations and coaching young musicians for national music competitions.
